Tom is a third generation Kaiapoi local and has lived in the town for all but four years of his life. Prior to embarking on a career in real estate, Tom was the manager of Kaiapoi’s New Zealand Post Shop for 19 years and knows the area like the back of his hand. He is well known and respected in the local community.

Waimakariri District Councillor for two terms, former elected Chairman of the Kaiapoi Community Board, Past President of the Kaiapoi Promotion Association, Justice of the Peace, Trustee of the Kaiapoi Railway Station Trust, Executive Member of the Darnley Club. These are just some of roles through which Tom has displayed his community focus and passion for the Kaiapoi area.

During his time in real estate, Tom has gained several Top awards, which he has maintained for five of the six years he has been in the business. He is committed to the future direction and regrowth of Kaiapoi as the town rebuilds post-earthquakes.

Tom and his wife, plus their two adult daughters, all live in Kaiapoi, along with his four grandchildren. When time permits, Tom is a keen outdoor bowler and has represented Canterbury at both outdoor bowls and rugby league.
