Before embarking on a career in real estate, Dennis owned an aluminium joinery business, managed three building supply branches and, in a completely different arena, launched the successful Coffee News publication in New Zealand and Australia. The publication is still read by thousands of New Zealanders and Australians on a weekly basis.

Dennis and his wife, their children and grandchildren, are all committed to the region and love being a part of Franklin.
